LCMS Service Milestones

We are honored to recognize our called workers who are marking special service milestones in the LCMS: Pastor Roger Theimer for 40 years, Pastor Greg Griffith for 20 years, and Peter Baye for 15 years.

Mother’s Day

All Campuses

Join us on May 12 as we celebrate our moms at all services at both campuses. We’re excited to offer a grab-n-go Flower Bar provided by The Kindling Company for every mom that day.

Annual Board Vote

We’re so thankful to the individuals who serve and lead on our Board of Lay Ministry. These 10 individuals, each elected to a three-year term, provide oversight and accountability for Pastor Greg and our staff. This year we’ll be electing three new Board Members, as well as voting to approve amendments to the Constitution, Bylaws, and Articles of Incorporation. Father Daughter Dance

All Campuses

This is a night for girls to invite dads, stepdads, grandpas, uncles, or anyone who’s been like a father to them for this special time together in the King of Kings Courtyard on May 4 from 6-8PM! Come together for a memorable evening of dancing, crafts, games, treats, and celebrating the amazing bond between fathers and daughters. This is a free event with no registration required.

MomCo Music Bingo

All Campuses

The King of Kings MomCo (formerly MOPS/MOMSNext) would like to invite all moms with kids ages 0-18 to our last meeting of the program year on Friday, May 10 from 9:30-11:30AM. Moms will enjoy food and fellowship while their children (age 1 and up) play with their peers in the MomCo kids rooms. Infants can come to the meeting with their mom. Our special event for the day will be Omaha Music Bingo!

Join us for Memorial Day weekend worship on Sunday, May 26. We will have a 10AM Blended Worship service in the Haven and 10AM Modern Worship in the Worship Center.

Join us for Memorial Day weekend worship on Sunday, May 26 at our Northwest Omaha Campus. We will have one worship service at 10:15AM.

SCUBA VBS

All Campuses

What if your child could dive into a full week of exploring and growing their friendship with God? Our SCUBA VBS in June will let kids experience the ever-flowing, never-ending love of God while enjoying Bible events, games, crafts, and worship songs. Children who will be age 4 by July 31, 2024 through those who have finished 4th grade are welcome to register. Older students and adults can volunteer to serve.

Father Son Camping Trip

All Campuses

This is a great way for dads and sons come together to worship God, engage in bible study, enjoy fellowship with other families, and participate in outdoor activities while camping at Ponca State Park. Open to all fathers or male father figures and boys from pre-K (4/5-year-olds) through grade 6, this event kicks off on Friday, June 14 at 6PM and wraps up by noon on Sunday, June 16. The cost is just $20 per camper, and that covers the group site camping fee and four out of the six meals (including all Saturday meals and Sunday breakfast).

Peak Challenge

Peak Challenge is an annual opportunity for men, sons, fathers, brothers, and friends to get away from the everyday routine of life and experience all that God has to offer them in a wilderness setting: the mountains of Colorado. The 19th year of Peak Challenge will take place on July 30-August 3 near Leadville, Colorado.

Let’s kick off every month seeking God in prayer and worship. Join us for worship from 6:30-7:45PM the first Wednesday of every month as we practice our core value of our reliance on God. Childcare is available from 6-8PM.

There’s even a library just for kids with over 2,000 safe, entertaining videos.
