About our teaching team.
We have some really great teachers here at King of Kings Online Campus. Take a peek below to learn more about each of them.
This is Greg Griffith.
Greg Griffith is the Lead Pastor at King of Kings. Greg’s primary role is speaking, vision casting, and culture building. He has a deep passion for everyone regardless of who they are, where they’ve been, or what they’ve done to know that Jesus is for them. He’s passionate about this because he has experienced this life transformation, personally.
Greg has a deep commitment to seeing people bless communities and people through generosity. He has organized and led efforts through non-profits to raise dollars and awareness for church and secular organizations who care for others in their local community. Greg has been a pastor since 2004 and he believes that the church can and will be the answer to the needs of the community when we work together for the well-being of all people.
He is the devoted husband to Laurie (baker extraordinaire) and is a proud Girl Dad of two amazing and talented kids. He loves to travel, watch baseball, coach basketball, smoke (meats and Cheez-its), and explore new restaurants and foods (sans fish). You can follow him on Instagram or Facebook, or follow his podcast.
This is Zach Zehnder.
Zach Zehnder is a Teaching Pastor at King of Kings. Zach is a devoted husband, father, author, 4th-generation pastor, and public speaker. Zach is married to Allison and has two sons, Nathan and Brady. He is the founder of Red Letter Living and the author of the bestselling book Red Letter Challenge. Since 2018, Zach and Allison have written and co-authored multiple books that challenge people of all ages to become greater followers of Jesus.
One of the craziest things Zach has done in ministry is when he broke the Guinness World Record for the Longest Speech (53 hours and 18 minutes) in 2014. The event raised more than $100,000 for a local non-profit ministry. Zach has a Masters of Divinity from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO.
This is Julie Eesley.
Julie Eesley has been the Executive Director at King of Kings for the past four years. She has been married to Dale for 28 years and they have three sons, Michael, Thomas, and Samuel. Julie and her guys moved here in 2008 and she took her first job at King of Kings in 2009 working part-time for the Kids Ministry department. Julie loves reading, writing, leadership development, traveling, and singing around the house.
This is Mark Zehnder.
Mark Zehnder comes from a long line of pastors, his grandfather, father, and two uncles were all pastors. During his 40 years of pastoral ministry, Dr. Zehnder has served at churches of all sizes…a small church right out of seminary, a mission plant that was one of the fastest-growing churches in his denomination, and for over 25 years at King of Kings. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri in 1981 and his Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California in 1999.
Mark and his wife of 44 years, Sharon, have three children, two sons, Eric and Zach (who is continuing in the Zehnder line of preachers), and a daughter, Charista. They’re thrilled to have five grandchildren, Nathan, Brady, Benton, Jada, and Remi. Mark is a sports nut and loves golf (he’s had 4 holes-in-one and a double eagle!) Mark’s life mission is “to inspire the church to reach the lost.” One of his favorite ways to accomplish this is to bless and encourage pastors.
This is Amanda Wood.
Amanda Wood, an Omaha transplant originally from Louisiana, has been at King of Kings for four years and is currently serving as Director of Students. In this role, she oversees all middle and high school programs and ministries. She has been leading students for ten years and her favorite aspect of ministry is taking students on mission trips!
Between college and full-time ministry, Amanda completed The World Race which is a mission trip that focuses on serving 11 countries in 11 months. She loves to travel for ministry and for pleasure, her current number of countries visited is 22! Amanda is eagerly expecting her first child this October with her husband Josiah.
This is Mike White.
Mike White serves as the Director of Ministry at King of Kings. Mike grew up outside of Houston, TX, and attended the University of Texas at Austin where he studied Business and Accounting.
Mike worked in the Accounting field for a number of years and returned to Concordia Texas where he was certified as a Director of Christian Education. Mike served in a variety of Student Ministry roles in Texas & Nebraska and also served with Can-Do Missions where he led hundreds of students on short-term mission trips to Mexico. Mike is married to Liz, a pediatric nurse, and they have two kids, Noah & Emily.

Here at King of Kings, our purpose is to transform lives. But that is more than three words on the screen. It is a beacon, a rallying cry, and the reason we get up in the morning. God’s transforming love inspires us to enjoy our time with Him, bless and encourage each other, and impact the world in ways He has uniquely called us to. We’d love to talk to you more about a relationship with Jesus. If you’re curious or have questions let’s chat. ?
